OUR FAVORITE MINECRAFT ADVENTURE MAPS

Herobrine’s Mansion: Remastered

Herobrine’s Mansion: Remastered is a glorious recreation of an adventure map created by the über-talented Minecraft developer Hypixel. Herobrine’s Mansion: Remastered offers story-driven gameplay with quests, unique mobs and epic boss fights spread across an absolutely stunning mansion. To get the most out of this map’s environments, we recommend installing the A’therys Ascended texture pack, which hasn’t been updated in a while but still brings out the best in Herobrine’s Mansion. We grabbed a version of it here. Good luck surviving in the Mansion!

Skyblock

Skyblock is an extremely popular adventure map that lifts you high in the air on a tiny island with a few necessary tools needed to proceed. You must survive and overcome challenges using only what’s available. This adventure does require quite some Minecraft know-how. The first challenges requires you to construct a Cobblestone generator and it doesn’t get any easier from there! This map is definitely a fun and interesting way to experience Minecraft’s survival and progression aspects. If you’re up for additional challenges, there are tons of modifications of the original Skyblock, such as new challenges, islands and more!

Toy Story 2

Toy Story 2 is a fun adventure map build in the world of, you guessed it, Pixar’s Toy Story 2! Andy’s house has been lovingly, accurately recreated and it’s absolutely massive. Though that might just be from the perspective of a toy. You’ll be tasked with completing quests that take you from room to room, exploring furniture and collecting tokens scattered around the house. This map features quite a lot of jumping, so good luck!

Kingdom of the Sky

In Kingdom of the Sky, a stranger begs your assistance to save his homeworld. You’ll find yourself happy you obliged. Kingdom of the Sky is a unique adventure that features narration through YouTube videos that creatively correlate with the in-game campaign. The game offers hidden chests scattered around the world with handy items. The world is awesome and immersive, though challenging to navigate. We’ll give you a hint: At the beginning of the map, there’s a switch that allows you to leave the floating island. Not that it fooled us. We totally didn’t jump to our deaths multiple times. Scout’s honor. If you’d rather play on a more recent Minecraft build, there is a fan-updated version of this map that works in 1.11+.
